Farid’s passion for sourdough ignited in his childhood, watching his mother create magic in the kitchen. Cooking and baking quickly became integral to his life. His journey into the world of sourdough began when he met bakery manager Daniel Sundgren, whose expertise inspired him to dive deeper into the craft. Over the past 14 years, Farid honed his skills as a baker in Denmark and Sweden, learning from some of the finest artisans. Four years ago, Farid made the move to Lismore, where he found himself yearning for the authentic flavors of his homeland. Recognizing a gap in the local market for genuine Danish and Swedish delicacies, he established his micro-bakery, Simply Sourdough, in the heart of the community.
